The school has a highly qualified teaching staff, which contributes to the development of the field. The faculty of the school consists of 6 candidates of economic sciences, 1 DBA, 1 PhD, 6 masters and 5 practicing specialists in the field of hospitality.
In order to improve the level of students’ knowledge, representatives of state structures, business organizations are involved in the educational and scientific process. Also the curricula for 2023-2024 academic year are developed taking into account modern economic and other changes, requirements of business representatives, including the basic requirements of the draft professional standard (developed by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken”).
State organizations and representatives of foreign and domestic businesses are actively involved in the development of educational programs “Hotel and Restaurant Business”, “Event Management” and “Organization of Tourism and Hospitality Industry”.
To strengthen theoretical knowledge, the school has a dual system of education, where some applied lectures and practical classes are conducted by leading managers at the bases of production practices, such as “Karavansaray”, “Top Tobe”, “Hampton by Hilton”, “Rixos”, which contribute to a deeper study of these educational programs. Also, students are given the opportunity during summer vacations to undergo internships at the practice bases of foreign universities, with which agreements have been signed.
