Quality assurance department

THE DEPARTMENT PURPOSE

The main purpose of the Department is to improve the quality of educational services provided by the University in accordance with the State license for the right to conduct educational activities in the field of higher education.

DEPARTMENT DIRECTIONS

The Department’s activities are carried out in 4 main directions: organization of the process of passing institutional and program accreditations (primary and confirmatory); implementation and functioning of the quality management system at the University; organization of the process of passing State certification by the University; organization of work on obtaining licenses for educational activities by levels and forms of training, as well as appendices to them.

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT

  • implementation of organizational measures and control over the preparation of reports and packages of documents attached to them, submitted to accreditation agencies;
  • organizational, methodological and informational support of the University’s institutional and program accreditation procedure;
  • formation and maintenance of a fund of regulatory documents in the field of accreditation, provision of these documents to all interested parties;
  • organization and coordination of activities at the University for the development and implementation of QMS in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 21001:2018;
  • preparation of the University’s QMS for external audits for compliance with the requirements of national and international standards;
  • development, periodic updating and actualization of QMS documentation;
  • study, systematization and control over the execution of regulatory documents of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the University;
  • monitoring of fulfillment of license requirements by the University;
  • organizational, methodological and informational support of the University’s state certification procedure;
  • organizational, methodological and informational support of the licensing procedure;
  • implementation of organizational measures and control over the preparation of a package of documents for the submission to the authorized body of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for obtaining licenses to conduct educational activities by levels and forms of education, as well as appendices to them.
