Multifunctional field of activity, one of the components of social work; its goal is to organize rational and meaningful leisure for students, satisfy and develop their cultural needs, create conditions for the self-realization of each individual, the disclosure of his abilities, self-improvement and amateur creativity within the framework of free time.

• promoting the creation of conditions for self-realization and personal growth of students, the formation and development of leadership and management skills, a sense of solidarity and spirit of unity, active citizenship and responsibility;
• holding meetings on problematic issues of students;
• holding meetings of students with representatives of law enforcement agencies, healthy lifestyle centers, drug treatment centers;
• holding and organizing meetings with representatives of the creative intelligentsia, prominent public figures;
• organizing and conducting student geographical tours and excursions to sacred places of Kazakhstan, historical sights of the region;
• organizing various events, including for the professional development of students.

• conducting systematic monitoring of the state of social and educational work and taking into account its results in practical activities;
• organization of preventive work to prevent violations of public order, rules of residence in the dormitory, and internal regulations at the University;
• compiling statistical reporting, keeping records of the main indicators of the University’s social and educational work;
• exercising control over the placement of students in the University dormitories, taking into account sanitary standards and rules;
• monitoring the social and living conditions of students in student dormitories;
• maintaining correspondence with enterprises, organizations, institutions on various issues within the competence of the Department;
• maintaining documentation in accordance with the established procedure in accordance with the nomenclature of cases.
