“Tourism is an industry that provides jobs for every tenth inhabitant of the world. For many countries of the world, it is the driving force of the economy, a source of finance and an affordable source of income for local residents. Therefore, it is of great importance for the inhabitants of the whole planet, because, first of all, tourism develops close ties between states, relations between representatives of different nationalities and religions. Of course, this date is September 27 in the calendar, but we wanted to highlight this holiday, because the International University of Tourism and Hospitality is the first specialized university in Kazakhstan that trains specialists in this field. Therefore, I sincerely congratulate all of you on the International Tourism Day,” Karlygash Amirovna noted in her congratulatory speech.

Special letters of thanks were also presented to a number of guests, university staff, and student activists, and the festive event continued with a bright concert program.
