The professional development course “Digitalization in the Formation of Communicative-Cognitive Competence” was successfully conducted from September 25 to October 9, 2024, at the International University of Tourism and Hospitality. The 90-hour program focused on developing digital competencies among English language teachers, covering essential aspects of modern educational technologies and online teaching methods. Participants mastered various digital tools, artificial intelligence applications in education, and methods of creating effective online courses. The course combined theoretical knowledge with practical skills, enabling teachers to implement innovative digital approaches in their teaching practice, and concluded with participants presenting their digital educational projects.
This course was organized within the framework of the project AP19678230 “Enhancing the communicative and cognitive competence of tourism specialists in teaching English using digital technologies” funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
