From 09/29/2023 to 10/06/2023, the executors of the project “Big Data Analysis (Big Data) and text processing based on traveler reviews in order to improve Kazakhstan’s tourism at the global level” to the university “Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat” (Turkey) took place.
Based on the results of the business trip:
A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the University of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat (Turkey, Alanya),
IUTH is included in the list of the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK);
Negotiations were held with the Associations of hoteliers in the tourism sector of Alanya on the organization and conduct of summer internships and international practice of IUTH students in 5* hotels in Alanya;
A meeting was held with the rector, vice-rectors, faculties of tourism and sports on the academic mobility of teaching staff and students, as well as on the opening of double-degree educational programs;
A scientific seminar and a meeting with the project executors were held and a report on the grant project “Big Data analysis and text processing based on traveler reviews in order to improve Kazakhstan’s tourism at the global level” was prepared;
The topics of scientific projects for participation in grant funding competitions of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed.
The bilateral memorandum was presented to the Rector of the University of Alanya, Mr. Kenan Akhmet, by the Vice-rector for Academic and Scientific Activities of the International University of Tourism and Hospitality, Adilova Kultai Agitaevna.
Thanks to the Memorandum of Cooperation, the International University of Tourism and Hospitality has taken another step towards internationalization. We believe that such international agreements will enhance the reputation of the university and benefit graduates in the future.
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) is a public university in Alanya. ALKU provides training at 8 main faculties (tourism, business, Engineering, medicine, education, sports sciences, healthcare, dentistry) in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs.
