Dear students! A competition is being announced to award vacant educational grants that were released following the results of the 1st semester of the 2022-2023 academic year:

According to the educational program “B091-Tourism”

18 vacant educational grants for first-year students

18 vacant educational grants for second-year students

8 vacant educational grants for third-year students

According to the educational program “B093-Restaurant business and hotel business”

7 vacant educational grants for first-year students

7 vacant educational grants for second-year students

1 vacant educational grant for third-year students

According to the educational program “B005-Training of physical education teachers”

1 vacant educational grants for second-year students

2 vacant educational grants for third-year students

According to the educational program “B092-Leisure”

1 vacant educational grants for first-year students

According to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 58 dated January 23, 2008, an application for transfer to a state grant must be sent to the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Hospitality (a sample is attached in the appendix).

 The application must be sent to the email address moldir.turganbek@iuth.edu.kz  by January 13, 2023. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered. The application must be written by hand, and signed and scanned. The scanned copy of the application must be sent to the above-mentioned mail address.

 Vacant educational grants released during the process of obtaining higher education are awarded based on the average GPA score at the end of the fall session (more precisely, participants are selected according to the highest GPA scores).

In the case of the same indicators of the average GPA score, preemptive right will be obtained by students with grades only A, A- (“excellent”), in the next turn – grades from A, A- (“excellent”) to B+, B, B- , C+ (“good”), then – mixed marks for the entire period of study.
