The club “Caravan” from the International University of Tourism and Hospitality took part in the 14th Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty “Tourism” among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan held in April 20-23, 2022 at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The second-year-students of the specialty “Tourism”, Zhumashev Nurdaulet, Yerkinzhanov Abduazim, Zhambyl Bektor, Pernebay Marzhan and Mansur Shugyla showed their knowledge and skills at various stages. The tourist facilities of Turkestan region were presented at the 1st stage, participants explained the volume of investments in the tourism sector of the region and the direction of tourism development at a high level. In the second competition Zhumashev Nurdaulet took the 2nd place in the individual competition in the direction of “Tourist orientation” in the technique and tactics of active types of tourism. On the 3rd day, our students actively performed in the team climbing competition. At the award ceremony the club “Caravan” was awarded a certificate and a letter of thanks addressed to our rector for active participation in the subject Olympiad. Congratulations to our students.
