Scientific research center

Scientific research center of the International University of Tourism and hospitality – manages the organization and coordination of fundamental, applied and innovative research work carried out at the university, as well as the training and advanced training of specialists in the field of scientific research. The work of the research center is determined on the basis of the Strategic Development Plan of the International University of Tourism and hospitality.

Organization of research work of the University:

The main goal of the Scientific Research Center in the organization of research work of the university is to ensure a continuous increase in the quality of scientific research work using scientific and innovative methods. It is also aimed at strengthening the relationship between science and education and the practical significance of scientific research conducted by the teaching staff (hereinafter referred to as the teaching staff) and students.

• Organization and coordination of fundamental and applied research work of departments, faculties and other structural divisions of the University in the main areas of the university plan;
• Organization of scientific and organizational work, analysis and dissemination of information in order to ensure the effective implementation of the tasks facing the University in the implementation of scientific research;
• Development of an annual plan of scientific research of the University, taking into account the main areas of scientific research of the University, recommendations of departments, faculty and other structural divisions, as well as external organizations. As well as the final report on the scientific work of the University;
• Organization of scientific-theoretical, scientific-practical, scientific-methodological conferences, symposiums, seminars, meetings and other scientific events together with the departments and faculty of the University;
• Implementation of international and republican scientific relations;
• Organization and control of improving the quality of publication of articles in journals approved by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the direction of university employees and teaching staff;
• Organization and control of improving the quality of publication of international peer-reviewed articles in the direction of university employees and teaching staff;
• Organization and control of participation of university staff and teaching staff in the competition, developing a project for a grant project funded by the Ministry of Science and higher education;
• Organization and control of participation of university staff and teaching staff in the competition, developing a project for a (targeted) grant project funded by the Ministry of Tourism and sports;
• Organization and control of the participation of undergraduates and students in various competitions, Olympiads, scientific conferences.
