The Military Department of the NPC “International University of Tourism and Hospitality” conducts training in 5 (five) specialties:
Military Accounting Specialty – “Organization of Educational and Ideological Work in the Land Forces.” Officer rank, duration of study is two years.
Military Accounting Specialty – “Organization of General Military Logistics.” Officer rank, duration of study is two years. Military Accounting Specialty – “Organization of Food Supply.” Officer rank, duration of study is two years.
Military Accounting Specialty – “Operation and Repair of Automotive Equipment.” Officer rank, duration of study is two years.
Military Accounting Specialty – “Rifleman (Squad Leader).” Sergeant rank, duration of study is one year.
The Military Department operates under the Order of the Acting Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2023, No. 265, which introduces amendments to the Order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 24, 2017, No. 375 “On the Approval of the Rules for Military Training Programs for Reserve Officers and Sergeants.”
The military training of civilians in officer and sergeant reserve programs is carried out in military accounting specialties based on higher professional education with the aim of forming a militarily trained reserve for the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as providing additional personnel for primary positions in the officer and sergeant ranks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Military training includes the organization and management of the learning process, military-patriotic education, provision of educational material resources, and professional training.
Military training is an additional form of education consisting of theoretical and practical courses.
The reserve officer training program includes 588 academic hours (360 for theory and 228 for practice).
The reserve sergeant training program includes 294 academic hours (180 for theory and 114 for practice).
The military training program is approved by the heads of structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the General Staff, branches and services of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military units, as well as special state bodies in whose interests the training of students is conducted.
