Today, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Abdirov met with the youth of the region at the International University of Tourism and Hospitality.
Nurlan Mazhitovich spoke about the structure of electoral bodies, the peculiarities of the electoral process, the institute of local and international supervision, noting that young people should be actively involved in all issues.
“Youth is our future, a component of society. The opinions and suggestions of young people on a wide range of issues of the electoral process are very important to us,” Nurlan Abdirov stressed.
During the meeting, the structure of the Central Election Commission was presented. Meanwhile, they answered questions regarding the elections of the President, deputies of the Mazhilis and Maslikhat. All these and other issues were covered in an online survey, which was attended with interest by all students who attended the meeting.
In turn, Karlygash Amirovna Aralbekova, Vice Rector for Strategic Development and Digitalization, spoke about the current goals of the university, new programs for students in the field of education and science, tourism, and a tour of the university was also conducted.
Expressing gratitude to the leading university in the field of tourism, Nurlan Mazhitovich made a special gift in the form of six books in three titles.
