On March 26, 2021, our university took part in the international online conference on the topic “Prospects for the development of niche tourism in Uzbekistan”. The conference was attended by representatives of universities of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Belarus, Italy, India and Spain.
In her speech, the Rector of the university noted the changes and limitations caused by the global pandemic in the tourism sector, the need to restart the industry, update the sphere, launch new digital platforms, eco-friendly solutions and new approaches in the organization of tourism.
It was also noted that the strategic partnership and fruitful cooperation between our two International universities of tourism in Turkistan and Samarkand is a logical continuation of that historical friendship.
About 10 thousand students from Uzbekistan study in Kazakhstan, and the University intends to increase these figures thanks to close cooperation in the field of education.
In conclusion, it was noted that the constructive cooperation between the universities will undoubtedly give a new impetus to cooperation and will contribute to the further strengthening of relations and the search for new approaches in the field of tourism!
