Today, in the assembly hall of the International University of Tourism and Hospitality, a meeting was held to discuss the Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dated September 1, 2022 “A FAIR STATE. ONE NATION. PROSPEROUS SOCIETY”.
The event was attended by Aidos Sakenov, the University Rector, Kultai Adilova, the Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs, Karlygash Aralbekova, the Vice-Rector for Finance and Budgetary Affairs, Yerzhan Ziyabekov, Chief of Staff, as well as the teaching staff.
Opening the meeting, the Rector noted that the new Address of the Head of State is the beginning of socio-economic and political changes in Kazakhstan, that our country is taking confident steps in development.
In addition, the Rector drew attention to the fact that quality requirements would be increased since it is the time to increase responsibility.
“It also talks about the need to optimize universities. Moreover, we think this is a very correct decision. To accomplish this task, it is necessary to implement the standards of the world’s leading universities and attract a franchise of foreign practitioners. It should be noted that the International University of Tourism and Hospitality is already working purposefully to create a world-class university. We should use the best experience of industry management by introducing flexible and convenient standards,” Rector A.M.Sakenov said.
The speakers agreed that in the current Address of the Head of State, every Kazakhstani could get answers to their questions. Each priority outlined in the strategic document is very important for our country. And in order to achieve the goals set in the Address, it is necessary to carry out explanatory work on the ground and bring it to the people.
