Anti-corruption compliance service

THE PURPOSE OF THE COMPLIANCE SERVICE

The main purpose of the anti-corruption compliance service is to ensure compliance of the NAO “International University of Tourism and Hospitality” and its employees with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on combating corruption, as well as monitoring the implementation of anti-corruption measures.

COMPLIANCE SERVICE DIRECTIONS

The activities of the compliance service are carried out in the following directions: development of an internal anti-corruption policy and a policy for identifying and settlement of conflicts of interest at the University, conducting an internal analysis of corruption risks in the University’s activities, monitoring identified corruption risks and measures taken to mitigate and eliminate them, conducting explanatory measures issues of combating corruption and the formation of an anti-corruption culture at the University, taking measures to identify, monitor and regulate conflicts of interest, including in matters of employment, procurement and business processes.

THE MAIN TASKS OF THE COMPLIANCE SERVICE

  • ensuring the implementation of tools for the prevention of corruption offenses by the University and its employees;
  • effective implementation of the system of anti-corruption measures at the University;
  • ensuring the analysis of corruption risks at the University;
  • ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements and best international practices on anti-corruption issues;
  • ensuring compliance with the basic principles of anti-corruption in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on anti-corruption.
