Within the framework of program-targeted funding for scientific and scientific-technical programs for 2025–2027, project BR28713129 “Studying the Introduction and Spread of Islam in Kazakhstan Based on Archaeological and Written Sources”, the project executors L.S. Dinasheva and G.B. Ashirbek conducted a scientific trip to the Republic of Turkey from October 26 to November 5. During the trip, they visited key historical institutions, the libraries of Ankara and Gazi University, as well as the personal collections of professors and the Presidential Library of Turkey (Cumhurbaşkanlığı Millet Kütüphanesi), where they collected valuable historical data and materials.

The collected materials provide an opportunity to comprehensively study the spread of Islam in the Turkestan region, its impact on social life and culture, as well as the formation and development of the Muslim educational system. This work is aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the region’s history and presenting historical processes based on reliable sources.
