By invitation of the Head of the International Cooperation Department Togizbayev Daulet Azilkhanovich on December 9, 2023 the Delegation of the Embassy of Indonesia in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan headed by the Ambassador Dr. Mochamad Fadjroel Rachman paid an official visit to the International University of Tourism and Hospitality.
During the visit, a meeting of the foreign delegation with the leadership of the university took place, where the Parties discussed issues and prospects for further expansion of cooperation between universities in Indonesia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the Parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students and teaching staff, attracting scientists for the guest lectures and developing joint educational programs.
During the visit, the Ambassador of Indonesia, Mr. Mohamad Fajrul Rahman, met with the students, where he delivered a guest lecture on the topic of Indonesian Diplomacy. The meeting with the Ambassador was held in an interactive format within the framework of public diplomacy, quizzes were held among students, and the organizers of the cultural program presented traditional dances and national dishes of Indonesia.
