Preparation of competitive bachelors in the field of organization of excursion services and individual tours, capable of developing services adapted to the needs of the consumer, as well as possessing practical skills in organizing and promoting tourism products, excursion services and individual tours.
According to the educational program of the organization of tourism and the hospitality industry, the following main disciplines are taught: Tourist and Excursion Design, Theory of the Excursions, Introduction to Excursion Activities, Technology for Creating Individual Tours in the Online Booking System, Tour Guide Skills, Technology for Organizing Individual and Group Tours, Tourist and Excursion Services for Individual Tours, Technology for Organizing Travel and Receiving Tourists, Legal Regulation in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry, HR in Tourism and Sightseeing Activities, Technology and Organization of Ethno-and eco- Tours.
Internship: Since the International University of Tourism and Hospitality is a member of the UN International Tourism Organization, students undergo internships in leading Kazakhstani and international hotels and tourism organizations, travel agencies and tourism departments.
A student who has completed an educational program can perform the following functions: Business activities in the tourism and hospitality industry, tourist and excursion activities in private tours, a tour guide with knowledge of foreign languages, the activity of a tourist instructor in active types of tourism, the organization of elite tours, auto-driving, travel agency and tour operator activities. The manager of the organization of excursion services and private tours can work as a specialist in government agencies, public organizations, private and consulting companies, marketing services related to the tourism and hospitality industry.
Graduates can work at enterprises of various forms of ownership in the field of tourism and hospitality: Enterprises of the tourism and hospitality industry of various forms of ownership: state bodies, public organizations and associations, private companies; republican, international tour operators and travel agencies; objects of cultural and leisure activities; sanatorium and health-improving institutions; republican and international exhibition centers; secondary professional educational institutions and centers; children’s and youth centers of active tourism.
