As part of Science Week at the International University of Tourism and Hospitality, we held an OPEN TALK focused on the practical challenges researchers face when preparing and submitting grant proposals.
We discussed common pitfalls across key proposal sections—problem statement, objectives, methodology, work plan, budgeting, and supporting documents. We also shared practical tips on how to strengthen an application: making outcomes measurable, justifying relevance, demonstrating team capacity and resources, and aligning the proposal structure with the funder’s requirements.
During the session, we also reviewed and discussed the attached document, which highlights the main guidelines for proposal preparation.
Thank you to everyone for the engaging questions and productive discussion!
