• Tansel Tercan is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in the international hospitality and tourism industry. He holds a PhD in Tourism from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, as well as a Master’s degree from Akdeniz University and a degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University.
• The Professional career is marked by long-standing leadership roles, most notably serving as a General Manager within Rixos Hotels for over 22 years (2003–2025). As of 2026, Dr. Tercan serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International. Beyond his executive roles, he has contributed to academia as a professor specializing in Sales Management and Marketing Strategies.

• Hospitality Leadership: Before joining Dedeman, Tansel Tercan spent over two decades in senior leadership roles at Rixos Hotels, overseeing major luxury properties and operations in both Turkey and Kazakhstan.

Academic Achievements:

• Tansel Tercan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Tourism and Travel Services Management from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (2018–2021) and a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from Akdeniz University.

Roman Beidalievich is a recognized expert in the field of management, tourism and education, with deep academic knowledge and many years of practical leadership experience.

Work Experience:

• Managerial activity: He has held senior positions since 1989. Since 2007, he has been the CEO of Turan Express Passenger Company LLP, the first private passenger company in Kazakhstan.
• Contribution to the development of tourism: Founder and head of a number of landmark projects, including the Turan TV channel about tourism and the Young Fisherman School. For his active work in popularizing the industry, he was awarded the badge “Tourism salasyn uzdigi”.
• Serving on the Boards of Directors: Has significant experience in corporate governance, being Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Turan Express and Independent Director of the International University of Tourism and Hospitality (2021-2024).

Personal achievements and public position:

• Roman Beidalievich is the President of the NGO “Sport Fishing Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, an international master of sports and a world champion in sport fishing. His work has been marked by numerous state and departmental awards, including the Yeresen Yenbegi Ushin medal and the Order of Kazakhstan.
• He speaks Kazakh, Russian, English and Turkish. He enjoys hunting, fishing and active tourism, paying special attention to the issues of ecology and conservation of natural diversity in Kazakhstan.
