The assistant of the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) program at the English club of our university, MS. Jackelyn Samandas, gave a lecture

A substantive and well-organized meeting was held within the framework of the English Club, organized by Senior Lecturer of the Language School, Daulet Azilkhanovich Togizbayev. The event was conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consulate General and the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program. The club’s guest of honor was Ms. Jackelyn Samandas, a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA). During the meeting, the guest delivered a lecture on a free topic and engaged with students in an open dialogue format, which fostered an atmosphere of openness and productive interaction. The lecture was delivered at a high professional level and was distinguished by its depth and educational value. Students were provided with a unique opportunity to develop their communicative skills through direct interaction in English with a native speaker. Participants actively asked questions and demonstrated strong engagement throughout the discussion. The event received a lively response and was highly appreciated by the students. As a result of the meeting, students’ motivation to learn English significantly increased, and their knowledge in the field of international and cultural exchange was further enriched.
